- The Summoning of the Estates General took place on May 5, 1789 and it was a political financial situation in France. It forced King Louis XVI to summon the Estates General. This is where the French Revolution started.
- The Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen Approval August 26, 1789
- The French third estate stood up to King Louis XVI and they agreed to not disband until a French constitution had been adopted. The third estate declared itself a National assembly and took an oath to force a constitution on the king.
- March on Versailles October 5, 1789

- The storming of Bastille which took place on May 14, 1789 was an attack on a state prison on the east side of Paris. The state prision was known as the Bastille and it was attacked by an angry and aggresive mob. The attack was on the government and King Louis XVI.

- We have to flee Paris and get out of here.

- The Declaration of Rights of Man and of Citizen is a document that was passed by France's National Constituent Assembly on August 26, 1789. The document granted rights to some commoners and provided equal rights for people in the French Evolution.
- The March of Versailles was an event that happened on October 5, 1789. Women were involved and they made a 12 mile march to King Louis XVI. Women were frustrated that they couldn't buy bread and that there were food shortages. They ransacked the city armory for weapons and marched to the palace of Versailles.
- The Flight of Varennes took place on June 20, 1791. This was an important and significant event in the French revolution. King Louis XVI of France, Queen Marie Antoinette, and their family tried to flee Paris in order to avoid retribution from the revolutionaries. his attempt was unsuccessful and it showed that you could not trust King louis XVI.
