- Magnesium + Nitrogen gas ➡️ Magnesium nitride
- Write the name of reactant on the left part of equation then put an arrow towards the right indicating that it "yields" the name of product.
- Mg(s) ➕ N2(g) ➡️ Mg3N2(s)
- Chemical equation consist of the chemical formula of the reactants and products. Its subscript also shows if it is liquid, solid or gas.
