Energie, kterou uvolňují vibrující předměty, je energetická energie. Čím větší jsou vibrace, tím více energie se uvolní.
Tepelná energie, také známá jako tepelná energie, je způsobena vibracemi částic v látce. Čím je teplejší, tím více tepelné energie má.
Chemická energie je energie uložená ve vazbách mezi atomy a molekulami. Tato energie může být uvolněna chemickými reakcemi, jako je spalování.

Světelná energie je také známá jako zářivá energie. To lze nalézt u všech typů elektromagnetického záření.
Energie nalezená v předmětech, které jsou roztříštěné nebo roztažené. Příklady jsou stlačené pružiny a protažené elastické pásy.
Energie nalezená v jádře atomu uvolněného jadernými reakcemi. Příklady lze nalézt v jaderných elektrárnách nebo atomových bombech.
Magnetická energie je energie související s magnety nebo elektromagnety.
