  • The Cook's Tale is the 4th story in The Canterbury Tales
  • Climax
  • Perkyn Revlour is an apprentice cook for whom he calls Master. Perkyn loves to gamble, dance, sing and participate in all sinful things. Master fired Perkyn for his innappropriate behavior.
  • Falling Action
  • After Perkyn was fired he was looking for a place to stay. Perkyn moved in with fellow revler who parties a lot. The fellow revler's wife owns a shop to hide her sinful deeds, shes a prostitute at night. Both the wife and revler are sinful people.
  • Resolution
  • Perkyn falls quickly into sin once spending a lot of time with the revler and his wife. They party a lot and do a lot of gambling as well. They drink a lot and do other sinful things.
  • Perkyn's soul is completely perverted. He fell into this new life of sin after he was fired by Master. He's very unhealthy and continuing to sin more and more.
  • The Cook's Tale is one of the stories that was not finished. So we believe that Perkyn ended up dying as a result of some of the sinful things he participated in. His soul is forever damaged, he went downhill after being fired by the Master.
