- I have been observing Max’s the past several weeks. I noticed that Max is currently having difficulty writing essays and has shown a lower level of writing for his grade level.
- Welcome to Grade 3 Homeroom Class
- Thank you so much for letting me know! I can see that he has a hard time writing essays. I see in his writing samples that you showed me, that his essay writing skills is unorganized and he has trouble with grammar. Is there a way we can help Max improve on his writing skills?
- Of course! Moving forward, let’s make a plan for Max so that he can maximize his learning potential.We can encourage Max to use a graphic organizer to get his thoughts down in order before he begins to write his essay. With your help, I can provide some graphic organizer outlines for Max to practice at home for homework. Please let Max know once again, that I am here if he needs help with anything.
- I will email you once a week to let you know about Max’s progress in the class. I will also post some of Max’s work on ClassDojo so you can see how he’s doing. If you need anything at all Mrs. Webber, please do not hesitate to contact me by email or ClassDojo. I am always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
