- Yeah, your step-grandparents do Thanksgiving a little different.
- Wait, different then usual?
- Hello everyone, get read to eat.
- I don't know...
- So, are you ready to eat?
- I was on my way to my step-grandparents house for Thanksgiving but I realized that it was going to be a little different than I thought.
- I know this may look a little different than you are used too, but I think you might find you like it too.
- I got really worried how much different it was going to be than usual. Was there going to be turkey? Was the food they did serve going to be really gross?
- Yeah I do! Some of this I have never even tried, and it might be a new favorite.
- So, do you like it?
- I didn't want to offend anyone but I really liked the way I had always done Thanksgiving, turkey and stuffing. They liked the way they had always done it, the Italian way. They were both 1st generation Americans. Both of there parents had been from Italy.
- Mom! That was one of the most fun and best tasting Thanksgivings ever.
- Awesome! I'm glad you had fun and didn't write it off too quick.
- After being served Lamb with mint sauce and fish with baguettes I really wasn't sure what to think of it. My mom walked over and explained that it may look different but that I should at least try it.
- I tired it and thought it was the best food ever. Lamb with mint sauce I had never even had before. The other stuff I had but I thought it wasn't fit for a thanksgiving.
- I finished the whole meal enjoying every bit of it an went home quite happy with how the day went. We have gone back to my step-grandparents for thanksgiving almost every year since.
