- Katniss and peeta get a little closer due to haymitch wanting to go with the " star crossed lovers from district 12"
- the tributes find out they can work and win together if they are in the same district so when katniss finds peeta she is relived that he is some what okay but he had a gash on his leg from catos sword.
- katniss and peeta win the hunger games together by tricking the game makers by almost eating deadly berries so their would be no winners instead of 2.
