- Mrunal...... I just came across this term 'Rationalisation' and I wonder what it means
- 'Rationalisation' is the process of converting a number with irrational denominator into a rational number by multiplying both numerator and denominator by a suitable number
- And the number which we multiply is know as the Rationalising Factor (RF)
- Example
- But, what does the word 'Irrational numbers' mean ?
- An Irrational number is that which is non-terminating and non-repeating
- For eg- √2 , √3, 3√5 etc
- Oh....this is interesting
- Now lets solve a problem !
