- You may say I'm mad, but I can calmly and healthily tell the whole story.
- I made up my mind, that I have to get rid of the old man's eye.
- The old man and the narrator were always very nice to each other, but something ran cold in his blood that made him feel off about him.
- The narrator decided to go every night to the old man's room to try to get rid of his vulture-looking eye. But every time he went, the old man was always sleeping.
- I need to find a way to get him to wake up.
- On the 8th night, the old man woke suddenly and got frightened. Instead of the narrator going away, he stayed since the old man woke up and his eye was there.
- WHO'S THERE?
- The narrator had killed him and decapitated all his body parts. He refused that he had gone mad.
- Finally, he is dead.
- Please do come in!
- The narrator had to play it off so the old man's death isn't noticable. He showed the whole house to the police and said the old man was out of town.
- Oh! Don't worry it was just a bad dream I had
- The neigbors had complained they have heard a scream from this house? Did anything happen?
- VILLIANS! I commit the deed. I have killed the old man. THIS IS THE BEATING OF HIS HIDEOUS HEART!
- Hahahaaha
- The beating of the old mans heart started growing louder and louder. The narrator thought the police were laughing and knew the narrator had killed the old man. The beating grew louder and louder until the narrator admitted he killed the old man.
