- What should I do for money?
- In 1903 someone named Mrs. Annie Johnson had two toddling sons and very little money. She could barely read and she could only add simple numbers. Her and her husband were getting divorced with each other and the husband was gonna take the money while she took the kids. Her husband's name was Mr. William Johnson.
- They're one nickle.
- Ok.
- Annie Johnson was over six foot tall. She wanted to take care of her kids so she didn't want to work as a domestic. She decided to cut her own path and do something else.
- She decided that she would cook meat pies for the hungry men at the cotton gin and lumber mill. To see if she could carry the meat pies to the two factories she waited to the night time to place stones in two five-gallon pails and carried them three miles to the cotton gin.
- The next day she had already cooked the meat pies and started walking with them to work she would give them to the hungry men for a nickel each.
- As she started getting more money, she upgraded to her own stall so she could sell more meat pies.
- Theme: If you are having a bad life try your best to try and move past it.
