- I remember getting frightenedwhenaircraft had overflown the community...
- A year ago...
- I left home at the correct timingbut when I was ridingalong near the hatchery,the crew was separating some salmon. I guess i gotdistraught, watchingthem.
- It was almost December, and Jonas was getting nervous for the ceremony of 12. He felt frightened but frightened was the wrong word for him to express what he was feeling and he decides that he is apprehensive rather than frightened.
- I felt very angry this afternoon.wehad a visiting group of Sevens, and they did not obey the rules. They were like animals!
- Do you think it’s possible that their rules may be different? And so they simply didn’tknow what your play area rules were?
- Jonas saw an unidentified airplane fly over the community twice. At first, he thought it was interesting but after a while, Jonas felt scared. It was against the rules for pilots to fly over the community.
- I am concerned about one of the newchildren who isn't doing well
- I feel scared as a repeat offender has been brought before me and the rules say that if there is third time, he simply has to be released.
- In the community, the language they use is very important.Jonas was very careful about his language but his friend, Asher, would talk fast and mix things up,scrambling words and phrases until they were barely recognisable.
- Lily, you know the rules. Each family unit has two children, one male and one female. It is written very clearly in the rules.
- At dinner, Jonas's family engages in the nightly telling of feelings, where each persontalk about how their day was and share their fears and uncertainties towards each other. Today, Lily went first. After Lily told everyone how her day was, everyone share their opinions and try to change her negative emotions to positive thoughts.

- After that, everyone else shares how their day went. Jonas father is the Nurturer and his mother has an important role in the Department of Justice.
- I am apprehensive about the ceremony of the 12.
- When father shared his concerns, Lily suggested that they could keep the newchildren but mother reminded Lily about the rules, only two children, one male and female is allowed to each family unit.
