Storyboard Beskrivelse

Elijah has finally figured out how to solve functions | By Kathrina Mary S. Salamat

Storyboard Tekst

  • And that is how you determine the domain and range of a function... Thank you for your time today everyone, see you tomorrow.
  • Hey Elijah, I noticed you're having trouble determining the domain and range of a function... If you want, I can teach you how to use the functions
  • Thank you so much mika, we can study at the library
  • First, I want you to understand that the domain and range are defined for a relation and they are the sets of all the x-coordinates and all the y-coordinates of ordered pairs respectively
  • There are various methods for solving functions, but I'll only teach you the simplest method, which is known as MAPPING.. It is a function represented by the mapping above in which each element of the range is paired with exactly one element of the domain is called one-to-one mapping.
  • For example, if the relation is, R = {(1, 4), (2, 2), (3, 10), (4, 8), (5,6)}, then:Domain = the set of all x-coordinates = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}Range = the set of all y-coordinates = {4, 2, 10, 4, 6}
  • Now I understand... Thank you so much for helping me mika! without your help, I wouldn't have been able to understand it.
  • Finally, you will be able to solve functions using the mapping method, which is as simple as that.
