- One day Fanny sat in her room thinking about her life. It was 1923 and Fanny still didn’t know who or what she wanted to be.
- Who Am I?
- Fanny decided to pack up her bags and start over in a new city to figure out who she is. She packed her long dresses, puffy blouses, and fancy clothes.
- Fanny boarded the train and made her way to Toronto because that’s where she wanted to start a new life.
- Razzmatazz!
- When Fanny arrived, she noticed something unusual. The woman in Toronto talked, acted, and dressed differently. They didn’t wear the traditional long dresses and puffy blouses. They didn’t wear their hair in a neat bun. They were different and more exciting.

- Fanny felt inspired and went to buy into this new unique style she had seen around her. She purchased loose sleeveless dresses, feathered headpieces, bright makeup, and flashy jewelry.
- After purchasing the clothing items, Fanny felt like she needed a change in her hair. She went down to the local Toronto barbershop and asked for the trendy bob cut.
