Storyboard Tekst

  • Scene I: The Plan
  • A cold and drowsy humor, for no pulse shall keep his native progress, but surcease. No warmth, no breath shall testify thou livest
  • Give me, give me! O, tell not me of fear.
  • Scene II: Setting up The Plan
  • Pardon, I beseech you! Henceforward I am ever ruled by you.
  • Why I am glad on 't. This is well, stand up.
  • Scene III: Ready to Take Action
  • Come, vial. I drink to thee.
  • Get thee to bed and rest, for thou hast need.
  • Juliet goes to the Friar Lawrence's cell to talk about the marriage with Paris. At the cell, Friar gives Juliet a vial of sleeping potion. He tells her to take it at bedtime tonight and she will stay in a deep sleep for 42hours, that way people will think she is dead , so the wedding will be called off. Romeo will then be her tomb waiting for her to awake so they can go off to Mantua and spend the rest of their lives together.
  • Scene IV: Wedding Preparations
  • Get to bed faith. You'll be sick tomorrow for this night's watching.
  • Juliet comes from Friar Lawrence's cell with some important news to tell Lord Capulet. Juliet then drops to her knees and apologizes for being such an ungrateful daughter and that she will indeed marry Paris. Lord Capulet takes the news very well and decides to move the wedding to Wednesday. However, this is dramatic irony because Capulet doesn't know Juliet's plan to be "dead" on the wedding day.
  • Scene V: Rise and Shine
  • Mistress! What mistress! Juliet I must need wake you. Alas, alas! Help, help! My lady's dead.
  • Peace, ho for shame! Everyone prepare to follow this fair corpse unto her grave.
  • Juliet tells her nurse that she would like to be left alone for the rest of the night. She then tells the nurse that she can instead help Lady Capulet with the wedding preparations. Little does she know, Juliet wanted to be in her room alone so she could drink the potion. Before drinking the potion, Juliet speaks to herself about all the fears she has on how this could go bad. At last, she drinks the potion and falls asleep.
  • Prediction For Act 5
  • It is the night before the wedding, and Lady Capulet wants to make sure that everything is perfect for the big day tomorrow. Lady Capulet is ordering the nurse and servants around like crazy, telling the nurse to get more spices and the servants to fetch stuff for the chef. As it got later, the nurse told Lady Capulet to go to bed so she wasn't tired for the festivities the following day and that she would take care of the rest.
  • Hold take this keys, and fetch more spices, Nurse.
  • On the morning of Juliet's wedding with Paris, the nurse goes to wake Juliet only to find her dead in her bed. The nurse calls for help, and Capulet and Lady Capulet go rushing into the room. They are in disbelief and utter sadness. Friar Lawrence then comes in to calm everyone down by saying it is in her best interest to be sent to heaven (tries to make everything seem fine without giving it away). He then orders them to the grave (Romeo will meet her there when she awakes).
  • My child, my only life, revive look up, or I will die with thee!
  • I am predicting that in act 5 Juliet will awake from the tomb to find the sight of Paris instead of Romeo. Romeo will be on his way to the tomb for Juliet's awakening but won't get there quite in time. He will then see Paris taking Juliet into his arms and running away. I then think that Juliet will try and get away from Paris and find Romeo again, however, Paris won't let her. It will then become a battle between Romeo and Paris on who gets Juliet ending in the death of Paris.
