- While Todd was beating up Bud, Todd thought it would be a good idea to frame but and get him in trouble. So, Todd lets out a cry and sooner or later Mrs. Amos walks in and sees bud right in front of poor little Todd. Obviously it was very concerning so Bud was scolded by Mr and Mrs. Amos.

- Bud finally escaped the Amos's house, Hooray! Bud now realizes the he is on the Lamb ( Run) and thinks of himself as a criminal which is pretty cool to him. So, He takes his suitcase and goes on with his life.

- Who's There?!
- As Bud was peacefully sleeping he hears footsteps thinking it's a random stranger, but to his surprise it is bugs! Of course he was a bit startled but this was a very pleasant surprise for Bud because he will now have a friend by his side for his journey.
- Chapter 14
- Bud and bug head out of Flint, to find a place called Hooverville or Hooperville as they called it. Once they arrived the boys were very confused and weren't sure if they were in the correct place so they asked!
- Is this hooperville?
- While Bud was on the way to GrandRapids to see his father, he ran into a little problem. He had been spotted by a random guy in a car, obviously the man is startled so asks " who's there?" So Bud finds a bush and uses it as cover/hiding place.
- After meeting some cool people, and spending quality time with them at the Sweet Pea, Bud suddenly bursts into tears! Of course he confused because he thought he " Doesn't cry anymore". Soon enough Bud realizes that he was crying because of happiness, He felt like he belonged.
