- Linda is a 25 year old woman with an unbearable toothache. She is at the dentist to find out what could be wrong with her tooth.
- Name: Gomez, LindaAge: 25Sex: F
- After her appointment, she feels much better. It turns out that she had an abscessed tooth, and it was fixed easily by performing a root canal.
- Now Showing:Peter PanNov. 12-22
- The next day, Linda decides to go watch Peter Pan at the movies.
- While watching the movie, Linda notices that her doctor is here. She overhears her talking to her colleague about her appointment yesterday!
- Wow that's awful!
- Hey guess what? I had this patient named Linda yesterday, and her tooth was disgusting! I almost threw up doing her root canal haha.
- Linda, feeling embarrassed, knows that the doctors have violated HIPAA by revealing her personal and health information in a public space. She reports them to their employers.
- Linda's doctor has been written up and given a warning for violating HIPAA, and she had been told that if she does anything like this again, she will be fired.
