Storyboard Tekst

  • Ralph
  • "The Fire is the most important thing. Without the fire we cannot be rescued." (Pg: 142)
  • This piece of text shows that Ralph has no fond of staying on the island for much longer and he wants to do everything he can to get off.
  • Piggy
  • "Blow the conch, Ralph." (Pg: 92)
  • This obviously shows that Piggy is smart but wants to contribute to the lead of the boys. (Ex: telling the leader what to do).
  • Jack
  • This text shows that Jack is very self-centered and wants to be incontrol of the uncontrollable people. Jack is very selfish and wants t be leader only to be the "big man".
  • "I ought to be chief." (Pg: 22)
  • - The author sees Ralph as a well-rounded individual who always thinks ahead to the next step.- The reader sees Ralph as the MAIN protagonist who has good leadership skills yet a hard time communicating them. The reader likes Ralph and wants him to escape alive.
  • Simon
  • "Maybe there is a beast, Maybe the beast is one of us." (Pg: 80)
  • - The author sees Piggy as the person who knows of everything that goes on and he is always loyal to Ralph.- The reader sees Piggy as a chubby side-man to Ralph and seems to be the so-called "peacemaker". The reader likes Piggy and wants to see where his story continues.
  • Sam N' Eric
  • "We ran as fast as we could- Bashed into things- The beast followed us- ... Nearly touched me." (Pg: 100)
  • - The author sees Jack as a self-centered individual who cares about himself and his own lead.- The reader sees Jack as the MAIN antagonist who is extra and underthinks things. The reader does not really like Jack because the bad guys never win.
  • Roger
  • "You couldn't stop me coming if I wanted." (Pg:178)
  • - The author sees Simon as one of all the boys who are open to what is really happening on the island and the TRUTH about the beast.- The reader sees Simon as a crazy/scared boy who might have grown some issues while on the island. The reader likes Simon because he is truthful/friendly.
  • This evidence shows that simon is scared and untrusting with the other boys.
  • - The author sees Sam N' Eric as Independent people yet they rely on each other for everything they do or think about. - The reader sees Sam N' Eric as two twins who don't seem to know what they are doing most of the time. The reader likes Sam N' Eric because they too are loyal to Ralph.
  • This text tells how Sam and Eric are still falling for the trick of the "Beast" also it shows they trust Ralph because they ran to him in panic saying these things.
  • - The author sees Rodger as a horrifying, demanding, self-rule power guy. He is angry, jealous, and overall stubborn.- The reader sees Rodger as another antagonist who gradually became more into the story as it went on (shy-"not so much"). The reader does not like Rodger all that much.
  • This shows the readers how Rodger is the type of boy to abandon everyone else and not let anything get in his way.
