- Their problem was that they did not know how high the cliff was. If the cliff was too high during low tide, then they wouldn’t be able to jump off. Together they decided to use math to solve their problem.

- Firstly, Angel decided to imagine a right angle triangle, with a 90 degree angle between the water and the cliff. Angel then proceeds to calculate the other interior angles.
- She decides that the base of the triangle will be 20 meters, because no one will jump further than 20m. She also estimates that the angle of hitting the water is 80°
