- The Indus people lived along the Indus river. The civilization began around 5,000 years ago!The Indus people lived around modern day Pakistan.
- The Indus people lived in traditional mud brick houses. The towns were neatly planned out with streets around ten meters wide.
- I heard that they would build houses on top of old houses!
- The Indus people had great indoor plumbing. They were some of the first people to have indoor bathrooms and showers!
- I wonder how the Indus people bathed, and went to the bathroom?
- I know about this one! This bath was mainly used for ritualistic bathing. Ritualistic bathing was related to the Indus peoples religion.

- The seals that the Indus people used were very similar to the ones we use today. They were used to sign documents and close packages.
- It is so interesting how old technology is still used today!
- Trading was quite simple within the Indus Valley people. For example, someone might be trading some bread for a stack of wheat.
