  • Run!
  • Why aren't we attacking?
  • That have lost their moral to fight.
  • So will I!
  • I will!
  • Who will come with Old Ben Milam?
  • General Austin could see that Mexican troops out numbered the Texan troops. He considered a slow, strangling siege as an attack strategy. On October 12, the Texans attacked San Antonio, which leaded to over 50 casualties and one cannon. Austin arrived back to urge an attack on San Antonio, but he found no support among his officers.
  • Push them back!
  • Benjamin Milam comes to the the camp that the Texans were staying at, and asks why they aren't fighting. Their response is that they don't have enough materials and they have lost their moral. Ben asks if he can find more volunteers, and the answer is yes.
  • Ben Milam gathers volunteers to go with him to attack the Mexican troops in San Antonio. Many people go with him because he is such a famous name.
  • No more attacking!
  • We surrender!
  • Ben Milam leads the Texans as they push the Mexican solders out of San Antonio. The Texan's good aim helps them overthrow the Mexicans. They also gain San Antonio. Unfortunately Milam is shot in the head by a sharpshooter's bullet.
  • The Texans push the Mexicans all the way in the Alamo. Ugartechea came with 600 Mexican reinforcements, but only 170 were experienced solders.
  • Finally after months of attacking Mexico surrendered at the Alamo. On December 9, Burleson and Cos discussed surrender terms between themselves. They agreed upon the Mexican troops leaving Texas and obeying the constitution of 1824. Texans gained San Antonio and the Alamo, which they celebrated. Little did they know that Santa Anna was bringing 5000 solders with him to attack the Texans.
