- Through this experience, I understand and cherish even more all the blessings, experiences, challenges, and opportunities I receive daily from God. Also, I realized that we all have different situations (ups and downs in life) that we must always face head-on, live with the results, and do our best to choose and do the right thing.
- At present, we are doing better as a family, and I am very thankful for that. We are doing our best to improve ourselves for the better. We are showing more support and love to one another. We are becoming more willing to forgive and encourage each other. And we are praying even more to God to ask for his continual strength and guidance (deepening our relationship with God).
- There were times that I felt so down and unmotivated, had thoughts of anger, and wanted to complain to God about what was happening within my family.
- In addition, this experience pushes me to become a better person overall, inspire and uplift others to be the best versions of themselves, and become more empathetic and sensitive to the people around me, as we all have different life experiences.
- And lastly, this experience enlightened me to appreciate and be content with everything I have in life, make the most of my life by making a good change in our world, spend more time with my loved ones and friends, and acknowledge and communicate with God even more. I hope this one experience in my life can inspire others to reflect on themselves and make a change of heart.
- I was nervous when it was my turn to talk with the priest, but nonetheless, I calmed and prepared myself to talk with him. I spoke honestly and felt regretful to the wrong things I have done. I asked for fogiveness then the priest told me ways on how I can improve myself. From that experience of Reconcilation, I really felt relieved or at peace again.
