- When Brians parents get a divorce that is man verses man. This is man verses man because they both don't like each other anymore and are in an argument. Another reason is because they are fighting to see who gets Brian when. I know this because on pg.3 the text states "When he had knew and had not told anybody, what he knew about his mother that caused the divorce, what he knew, what he knew-the Secret.
- An example of man verses self is when Brian sees himself in the lake after the crash. When Brian sees himself in the lake he calls himself ugly multiple times. Another thing that makes this true is because he gets mad or almost frustrated at the sight of himself and splashes the water so he can't see his reflection anymore. I know this is true because on pg.65 the text states "He slapped the water with his had to destroy the mirror. Ugly, he thought. Very, very ugly."
- One example of man verses nature is when the pilot had a heart attack . I know this because when he had a heat attack at the very beginning off the fight when he told Brian to get in the copilot seat so that means he did't know or control if he had the heart attack or not. Another reason this is right is because when they were flying his shoulder started hurting and he started passing gas.
