- This is where the war all began... let me take you through a journey back in time to see why and what happened when everything was at stake for a desperate Britain and there was nothing to lose for a confident China. Watch it all come up in flames!
- In this scene Britain claimed that they were not welcomed, the guards all had machetes and everything was so different to Britain, the Chinese Emperor just lay down showing them disrespect whilst they tried to negotiate terms with him and overall he just seemed dis interested and displeased with their gifts from Britain, they even made the soldiers kowtow and showed no signs of respect at the king's letter. However, in the eyes of the Emperor the British were being outright rude as Lord McCartney refused to kowtow which was an order if you were to speak to the Emperor, it was a sign of respect but McCartney had none for him and refused to offer him power by kowtowing upsetting the Emperor deeply. Furthermore, the gifts that Britain offered were little trinkets from Britain when the Emperor had no use for them.
