Storyboard Tekst

  • Salivary Glands are getting your body ready to digest the pizza before you even take a bite
  • That pizza looks very good. My mouth is watering just thinkIng about it.
  • The acids in your saliva help soften your pizza so it is easier to chew and break apart. This is apart of the physical digestion.
  • this pizza taste like cheese
  • As you swallow your pizza, it travels down a long tube called the esophagus. The esophagus has muscles that pull your food down into your stomach.
  • Now that the pizza is in your stomach, chemical digestion process will start. The juices and enzymes in your stomach are very acidic and this will help deteriorate the pizza
  • I'm so full
  • After a couple of hours, your food should be in the small intestine now. The small intestine will take the pizza cells that the stomach acids separated and make them into our personal cells
  • By now, you should have all the nutrients your body needs and are ready to dispose of the extras. In your large intestine, the extras/waste are ready to leave your body. You might know the ending of the digestion process as pooping or taking a number 2.
  • oh no! where's a toilet when you need it!
