  • Sometin' In Da Water

  • I am Robert Hooke. One day (in 1675), I was out in my earthy bungalow, doing what I love - studying plants. While I studying them through my compound microscope, I named them cells because it reminded me of the monastery, where my mother's, brother's second uncle lived.

  • Guess What?!?
  • Hi! I'm Kayden! I may not be a scientist but I am glad tell you that 200 years has passed, since the first discovery of cells. The technology has, thankfully, improved so much! Therefore we now have powerful microscopes, that magnify more, so we can see the cells better! Wonder what we'll discover next?

  • Opposites Attract....wait they're the same?!
  • I'm Matthias Schleiden. I too studied plants with a compound microscope - except I studied them in 1830, specifically their cells. As I was studying I realized that they all have similarities in shape size and color. I told all my scientists, just a few days ago. I hope they're all impressed. I really need a raise!
  • Cell-ebrate My Discovery!
  • I'm Theodor Schwann, I studied cells. I was studying them with a compound microscope at my mother's cousin's wedding in 1830, when I discovered that all living things had cells. That same night I discovered that all the cells had different jobs. What a day!
  • Copycat 101!
  • My name is Rudolph Virchow, I did most of my AMAZING work in 1858. Although I am not a scientist of any sort, I do study other people's work......almost like, uhm, Grammarly. Hmm. I do remember once that a very famous scientist once said, that cells only come from other cells. I do like the sound of that. Well, guess it's my idea now.
