- On Mount Olympus there was a wedding feast and all the gods were invited. The God of discord wasn’t on the guest list. To seek revenge she rolled a golden apple among the guests. On it said “To the fairest”.
- Three Goddesses, Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite all tried to claim it. They went to Paris to settle it. All the Goddesses tried to influence Paris with a gift. Aphrodite won because she offered him the most beautiful woman on earth.
- After that visited the palace of Menelaus at Sparta. Paris seduced the queen and abducted her back to Troy.
- The theft of Helen which invoked the oath of tyndareus, requiring the United powers of the Greeks. The Greeks traveled to Troy in the Trojan War for 10 years and the Greeks failed to besiege Troy in the Trojan war.
- Finally Odysseus had the idea to build a large wooden horse known to be Trojan horse. Warriors hid inside the horse and left it at the gate of Troy. The night the Trojans took the horse in the city the warriors entered and sacked the city and won the Trojan war.
