- This is when the Americans surprised attacked the British so they took of everything of they had on to make it easier to run away.This happened on April 19 1775.Barrett and three others controlled the Militia and Colonial Smith controlled the British.Lexington won in the outcome.
- Battle of the Monmouth
- This is when George Washington the leader of the Americans and Charles Cornwallis leader of the British went at it at battle but the Americans were out numbered but Washington didn't and charged at the British.It took place in New Jersey in 1778 at Freehold Township.The Americans won in the outcome, George Washington was praised for his bravery but lost many soilders.
- Battle of Yorktown
- In this battle the Britsh got surronded by the Americans because all of their people retreated back to Yorktown because of the Americans.General Nathanael Greene comand the Americans and Charled Cornwalis commanded the British. This battle took place in Sept 28, 1781-Oct 19 1781 in seige yorktown.
