Storyboard Tekst
- This is the first scene in the book. This shows the characters relationship. Alia, the daughter, wants to go to a drawing school that only few people get accepted to but her parents won't let her. They find out she smoked a joint with a friend (Carla) a while back. This is her punishment. Alia is furious and hates her parents currently
- Jesse pov
- Mom- "Alia you are not going to the drawing program!"
- Dad- "You are becoming a lawyer."
- Alia pov
- Alia- "I hate you guys! It is my life!"
- This scene is the first scene when Nick, Jesse's boyfriend, takes her out on her first date. It was very unexpected. She thought it would be a nice dinner. Instead, it was them vandalizing property with spray paint, painting the word NOTHING. It is supposingly supposed to be a meaning towards Nick.
- Jesse pov
- Alia pov
- Nick- "We are fine stop worrying"
- Jess- "Nick! What if someone sees us doing this? We are gonna be in trouble.
- Alia pov
- This scene was a couple of days after Alias parents yelled at her. SHe got so upset she tried running away. Things did not workout so she is outside of her apartment crying because she does not know what to do. She tries walking to her friends house but she did not think it was the right thing to do. This scene is important because it shows Alia is afraid to leae her family. Even what they did to her she knows it is not right to run away.
- Alia to herself - I wish my parents knew how important this school is to me and di not treat me like a child.
- I don't know what to say. What do I tell him? Do I just ignore him?
- After Nick and Jesses vandalizing, they saw each other the next day. Jesse was confused on what to do with him because she knows he is a bad infuence but she still likes him. At school, she tried ignoring him but failed because he talked to her. This started kind of a problem because he now knows something is up but Jesse won't tell him. They start to get in an argument about it.
- Nick- "Why are you ignoring me Jesse? What did I do wrong?"
- This scene was also very important. Alia walks into the bathroom to see Carla suprisingly. She asks Alia if she wants to smoe a joint with her and she does! They get caught by a teacher and Alias parents loose complete trust in her. They do not let her go out or do anything except leave for school. This leads to a bigger problem with Alia in the future.
- Carla - "Not again"
- Alia- "I should not have even spoken to you Carla. I'm so stupid for that."
- This scene is the day Jesse goes on a rock climbing workout and meets a new guy, Adam. She finds him very attractive but knows it is the wrong thing to do. After the workout, she realizes Adam goes to her school. She thinks this will cause caious betwen her and Nick. She does not want Nick to find out about this new guy. She is being super secretive.
- Jesse- What is Adam doing at my school!? This is not going to end well.
