Hi there i'm the moon and i'm going to tell you how massive stars was born it all started in a cloud of dust called a nebulae
Then the protostar, a small dense spinning ball of gas forms into a star 3-4 times as big as the sun. and over time the massive star runs out of fuel. when it does it starts to make heavier elements because of this the star expands making this a super giant
The nebula is a cloud of dust and hydrogen. The gravity then starts to pull all of that stuff together making it hotter and hotter until it becomes a protostar in there two hydrogen atoms combine to make a helium atom this is called nuclear fusion.. but there is more involved.
Were about half way through the life cycle of a star and up next is a supernova. A supernova occurs when the gravity pulls so hard on the super giant that it explodes.
And if the supernova is still bog it can form into a black hole. Black holes suck everything in including light
A super nova's explosion is so huge that you can see it in space for seven whole days
