- Hello boys and girls! My name is Dr. Anatomy. I help save the civilians of the world with my magical healing powers!
- My trusty friend right here keeps track of all the people in need of my help.
- When this antenna rings, I must hurry before it's too late!
- Oh no! I must go to town and save the people!
- RING RING! Dr. Anatomy quick! There is an emergency at the local Museum! Issac, one of the workers will meet you in the town square! Hurry Dr. Anatomy!
- Hello Issac! What seems to be the problem!
- Dr. Anatomy! It's our human body exhibit. All the parts of Dan the Human Man seemed to have stopped working! He has not woken up for his daily show!
- No need to fear, Dr. Anatomy is on the case! Let's take a closer back at the museum.
- Right this way!
- Hmm... first we need to distinguish the different parts of Dan's body to figure out what is not functioning. We will take him back to the lab and start with his brain.
- Look! He has been like this for hours!
- It functions as the control center for our bodies. Processes like breathing, thinking, and memory are all stored in the brain. It sends messages to the rest of our body for just about everything!
- The brain is located on Dan's upper body, Inside his head.
- Oooo interesting!
- The heart is a very important body part. Its job is to pump blood all throughout your body! Our brains send messages to the heart without us having to think about it!
- Now, let's take a look at his heart. Dan's heart is located in the middle of his chest.
- Tell me more!
- The stomach's main function is to store and breakdown the food we eat.
- You got it! Let's take a look at his stomach and lungs.
- What about our lungs? What do they do?
- Lungs are located in our chest. This body part allows us to breathe by bringing oxygen into our bodies!
- I can hear him breathing! That means the problem isn't his lungs! What else could it be?
- We will soon understand! Now, let's take a look at Dan's muscles. They are located all throughout his body!
- Our muscles provide support for our joints and allows us to bend and straighten!
- Dan's muscles seem to be working! His arm is up but he is still asleep!
- Our skeletal system acts as a support for our entire body. It gives us our body shape, allows us to move, and provides protection for the rest of our body parts.
- Hmm.. Lets observe one last body part, Dan's skeleton.
- Well, Dan seems to be able to move and stand up straight. I know now that is not the issue, but what else could be keeping him from waking up?
- What do you think it could be? Remember all the parts we discussed earlier.
- Hmm... Dan is able to breath because of his lungs, he is able to bend his arm because of his muscles, I can hear a heart beat, and his skeleton allows him to stand up-right. What else am I missing?
- Correct! Now that we now what's wrong with Dan, I can use my powers to heal him! This will only take a few seconds.
- WAIT I GOT IT! Dan isn't waking up because is brain is not sending his body the correct signals!
- I'm awake! You saved me! How can I ever thank you Dr. anatomy!
- No need to thank me Dan, I am always here to help!
- Thank you Dr. Anatomy! With your understanding of the human body, Dan is healed and we can get him back to his exhibit!
- It is important to remember our body parts function to keep us alive, grow, and reproduce! Dan the Human Man is now able to return home safely!
