- I can’t believe that our saviour is dead.
- I can’t believe it either. This is so sad!
- What are you guys talking about and why do you look so upset?
- Haven’t you heard the saviour is dead!
- Jesus was meant to suffer and rise from the dead. He died to save everyone’s sin’s. This was God’s plan.
- Wow!
- There were two men who were walking together and talking about Jesus’s death. They were very upset just like everyone else who was a follower of Jesus.
- Shall we keep going.
- It’s getting dark please stay with us for dinner!
- While they were walking Jesus came up to them and asked what was wrong. They told Jesus what had happened and they were very upset.
- We have been with Jesus this whole time!
- I can’t believe that we didn’t realise it was Jesus!
- I am so happy that Jesus has risen from the dead!
- Jesus started to speak to them about how the saviour had to suffer and that it was God’s plan. He went back to the very beginning and told them about the scriptures and about his self.
- I’m glad that Jesus has returned!

- It was starting to get very dark so the two men invited Jesus to stay with them for dinner. They still did’t know that they had been talking to Jesus.
- Jesus got a piece of bread. He blessed it and then broke it in half just like he did before he died. The two men realised that it was Jesus. When they realised it was Jesus he disappeared.
- The two men were so excited and happy. They went back to Jerusalem to tell the ll disciples. Jesus appeared while they were with the disciples and he showed them his hands and his feet to show that it was him. The disciples were surprised and happy.
