- This picture shows a person hiding there real feelings. They are always looking happy but on the inside the are sad. The author of the poem wants to explain to the world that many people wear mask.
- "Why should the world be over-wise, In counting all our tears and sighs? Nay, let them only see us, while We wear the mask." the poem say. It is telling us that even with broken and bleeding hearts that people will always say they are happy. It also means that if the world tarted caring for each and every person feeling it would grow to wise.
- The society does not pay attention to all the details to the suffering of the people. For the people will only see us as the people behind the mask and nothing else. Despite all the suffering the people have been through let them think that we are happy and not suffering.
- This is the character in "we Wear the Mask". They are the same person but one is showing how he really feels, sad, while the other is happy. This helps the plat because in the poem the character is feeling one feeling but is showing another because of the "mask".
- In this scene it depicts the character and two other people who all have straight faces, showing no emotions. They are hiding how they feel on the inside only that they are happy on the outside or have no emotions. In the poem the author depicts that the character will not show how they feel to the world.
- In the end the character can't decide weather to be happy or sad. For the world see the character as someone who is happy and let the world dream on about that. For everyone wears a mask the grins and lies.
