- Zeus goes into Agamemnon's dreams as Nestor and encourages him to bring his full force to the Trojans wall and fight because he believes they will win

- Achilles is upset that Patroclus dies, so he returns to battle and swears to kill Hector.
- I will defeat you Paris, you coward. For I want Helen!

- Menelaus challenges Paris to fight for Helen, but Paris losses. Therefore the war isn't over.
- Patroclus goes out disguised in Achilles armor and kills many Trojans, which causes them to retreat, but ends up being to ambitious and gets killed

- Achilles we need you in order to win this war. We are losing!
- The Trojan army retreats as a result of Achilles’ bloodspattering.
- Hector, I’m going to kill you because I’ve lost my love because of you.
- Agamemnon is distressed because they are losing very badly and tries to convince Achilles to fight, but he is going home
- The Trojans and the Achaeans continue to fight. Both sides have many injured people
