- The battle of Britain was one of the most important battles in World War II. The battle of Britain started on July 10th, 1940 and lasted many months because Germany decided to continue to bomb Britain. It got its name from the Prime Minister of Great Britain. When the Germany needed to prepare for the attack of Britain they bombs a town. Then after the war the Germans won the D-day invasion.
- The battle of Stalingrad was one of the largest and deadliest battles in World War II. The battle lasted for 1 year and started in 1942 and ended in 1943. The battle also began with the German Air force and Then the German army was able to take over half of the city. Finally the battle ended on February 2nd, 1943.
- The D- day battle started on June 6th, 1944 in Normandy. The first wave of attack began with the Paratroopers. These were men who jumped out of planes using Parachutes. They would jump out of planes at night and attack their enemies. They would also drop bombs on them. After all o the traumatizing experience over 150,000 troops landed i Normandy and the battle ended.
