- It was a gorgeous Monday, Sara was on her way to a brand new school.She sat alone on the bus and didn't know anyone.
- In class
- Who even is that...Does she even understand what we are learning?
- As she got off the bus,she felt very alone and different from everyone else. There were people whispering about her and it made her feel upset.
- The teacher talks to the girls
- Girls, you should seriously think about what you say before you say it . You were all new students once. You should make her feel welcomed.
- She went to her locker and put her bag away and headed to class.Other students stared at her and no one bothered talking to her. She felt alone and wanted to leave.
- Apology
- Once she got into class, the teacher began to teach and asked questions. Sarah raised her hand to answer but one of the students whispered something under their breath that made her feel insecure and upset.
- Probably not...What a loser.
- After class, the teacher pulled the same girls aside and had a talk with them.
- Once recess started, the same girls came up to Sarah and apologized to her because they felt bad and realized that she was a new student and that they were all new students once. They talked it out among themselves. They invited her to play with them and they all got along.She had made new friends and is now excited to go to school.
