  • WOMENS RIGHTS
  • AfterNowadays, women were attending college in higher numbers than ever before. Women workforce also continued to grow rapidly, and have plenty jobs, like nurses, teachers, librarians...etc. Some young women also expressed heir freedom through the use of fashion, challenging the traditional ideas of how women were supposed to behave.
  • BeforeWomen were confined to the domestic sphere, while men were always first priority in public life. Women weren't accessed to own property, study, or to even participate in public life.
  • DuringWomen were excluded from voting. The Nineteenth Amendment allowed women suffrage in the early 19th century. The fight for the women suffrage was tied in large part to the fight against slavery.
  • 1. Women didn't have equal rights to men and didn't have access to a lot of things.2. Education, owning property, and voting weren't available for women.3. The 19th Amendment helped women gain back voting rights and it contributed to abolishing bondage. 4. It helped millions of women have more contact with public life.5. Fashion was one-way women expressed their freedom, hoping to show the world the traditional ideas of how women should behave.
