  • Electricity is widely considered to be a viable replacement for gasoline, but that is a lie. Electricity cannot be a proper substitution for gasoline, and this serves as an outline of the reasons why.
  • The first reason as to why gasoline is superior, the world has been running on gasoline and fossil fuels since the mid-1800’s when crude oil was first discovered, that's over 164 years ago. Fossil fuels have had all of that time to develop the world and produce new ways of usage such as boats, airplanes, buses, and most notably the automobile. If the government decides to try and switch fuel systems over to electricity instead of gasoline, it will surely collapse the economy. Most people that support electric cars use the environment as the strongest point in their argument, but that is a lie and the only thing I need to prove it is a picture of a lithium mine. If you don't know what lithium is, it is what most batteries are made of including electric cars, all of your Apple/Samsung products, and the batteries of your controllers. Mining for lithium produces more pollution than gas ever could
  • Performance is another reason. Tesla will beat most in the 0-60 category, but if you put it on a track against a stock Porsche GT3 RS, it will surely lose. A lot of people also think that a Tesla would beat something like a Hellcat or a GT500 in a drag race. Stop lying to yourself. In a quarter mile, sure, but if you take a Tesla to a half mile race or a full mile, expect to lose. See a Tesla is quick not fast, meaning it accelerates very quickly, but the top speed isn't much to look at compared to gas powered cars. In conclusion, it can be assumed that electricity is not a good replacement for gasoline and fossil fuels.
