- Yeah, it was proposed by Pythagoras and his pupils, which was then followed and supported by Anaxagoras. lots of scientists proposed a lot of theories, but the the theory of Earth being spherical is the one we follow today!
- Physical Science rocks! I just learned about how Scientists found out that the Earth is spherical instead of flat!

- They discovered it through their observations of the shadows that form during a lunar eclipse! How cool is that?
- I know, right? They even invented the sundial or the first clock ever with just observing the skies!

- The best part was that they were able to create the calendar by only observing the phases of the moon!

- Yeah this was stated in one of the theories given by pioneers of modern astronomy. The theory of Ellipses states that the planets move in ellipses having a common focused situated at the sun andthe other focus is empty
- Even the way the planets are positioned have also been a debate between many scientists from before

- The scientists from the past sure are a talented and smart bunch, I wish I could be like them one day
