- Cassius: ¨Brutus, I´ve been watching you lately. You seem less good-natured and affectionate towards me than usual. ......¨
- Brutus: ¨Lately, I´ve been overwhelmed with private thoughts and inner conflicts, which have affected my behavior.¨
- Cassius: ¨Really, are you afraid of that? Then I have to assume you don´t want him to be king.¨
- Brutus: ¨Why are they shouting? I´m afraid the people have made Caesar king.¨
- Brutus: ¨I don´t, Cassius, though I love Caesar very much.¨
- Cassius: ¨Caesar said to me, ¨Cassius, I dare you to jump into this rough water with me and swim to that point.......¨
- Brutus: ¨But why do you keep me here so long.? What do you have to tell me ?¨
- This scene is where Cassius and Brutus are talking. As they are talking, Cassius notices that Brutus been quite lately.
- Cassius:¨I am glad that my weak words have provoked even this small show of protect from you¨
- Brutus:¨I have no doubt that you love me. I´m beginning to understand what you want me....¨
- Cassius and Brutus start talking about Caesar in this scene. Cassius finds out how Brutus feels about Caesar. Brutus does loves Caesar, but he doesn´t want him or any one to be ruler because he thinks that Rome doesn´t need a ruler. Brutus cares for the good Rome. Cassius doesn´t want Caesar to be ruler and he doesn´t like him.
- Casca:Yes, they are shouting out of joy because Caesar rejected the crown when given to him three times.
- Cassius: ¨They shouted three times. What was the last cry for?¨
- Brutus: Hey, Casca what are the shouting for?
- This scene is Cassius talking to Brutus about how Caesar is bad and not fit to rule. Cassius tells a story about how Caesar and him went swimming. He explains to Brutus that he was a coward because he calls himself God, but he is weak because he had to save him.
- Cassius: I am going to make a plan to convince Brutus to be on my side. I am going to send out several letters in different hand-writing saying that Caesar is not fit to rule and he is bad.
- After, Cassius is done talking about Caesar, Brutus tells him how he feels. He tells him to give him some space to think and he understands that he wants him to agree with him about how Caesar is bad.
- This scene is where Casca, Cassius and Brutus are talking. Casca talks about Caesar declining the crown three times. Caesar rejecting the crown is to show that he is humble and doesn´t care about the crown. That´s why people were shouting.
- When Brutus and Casca says goodbye to Cassius, Cassius talks about his plan. This scene is how Cassius plans to convince Brutus that Caesar is bad and not fit to rule.
