I'll go first. Nuclear energy is the only type of energy that has its waste contained. All others let their wastes into the air, ocean, or ground.
WHAT??!!
Yeah but, even a small spill and it could be very deadly. Radioactive waste can cause cancer or create skin burns. this could hurt many of people and hur the land it spilled on.
I'm so gonna beat her!
Well, Nuclear energy doesn't really on the weather like Solar and Wind energy.
Are you sure? What if you're solar panel broke and you had to replace it, where would the broken one go. They can't sell it if it doesn't work so, they through it into landfills and, that metal can seriously hurt the environment.
Solar panels have something called PV cells. PV cells can store energy for over 20 years! Even after 30 years your Solar panel would probably still be fine.
There is only so much Uranium in the world. At this rate we will run out of Uranium and Nuclear energy won't be able to work until we find a different element.
Uh Oh! It's alright, Deep breathes. Lets say a different fact.
Well it creates a lot of jobs. Uranium doesn't split its own atoms.
You know what, this is goin nowhere. Class! I want you guys to vote.
Did you not hear what I said!! It could be very dangerous to deal with the radioactive waste, people could de from it. Does that sound like a good job to you?
