- I'm very hungry, I'm going to gobble you guys up!
- We are able to produce our own food due to a process called photosynthesis. We also provide oxygen and food for smelly fat pigs like you and everyone else. Without us you'd die!
- How are you tiny guys important?
- During photosynthesis, plants absorb sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide from the soil and atmosphere through our stomata. Water is oxidized, which means it loses electrons, while carbon dioxide is reduced, it receives electrons. This happens in the chloroplast, which contains chlorophyll, inside the cytoplasm of green plants. Water is then converted into oxygen and carbon dioxide into glucose and ATP is generated and used as a result. Photosynthesis occurs in two reactions: light-dependent and light-independent (Calvin cycle).
- What is photosynthesis? You ugly green thing.
