Storyboard Tekst

  • A long time ago, in the chilly mountain regions, there lived a pack of wolves.
  • The humans in the valley kept to themselves for the most part-- until they realized the potential of the wolf.
  • The two tribes took the wolves and set off in their separate ways, each with half the pack of wolves. The first tribe headed to the ocean. The second traveled to the desert.
  • The tribe that went to the ocean stayed there for a long time.
  • Natural selection and evolution began to happen to the separate population of wolves. Mutations in their body structures began to get passed down, and after many generations had passed, the new generations of wolves had sand-colored fur and floppy ears. They also had long legs that helped them swim to catch fish to eat.
  • However, far away in the desert, the population of wolves changed in different ways. When the first wolves reproduced, one of their offspring had a dark face and a floppy muzzle. This helped the puppy see better in the desert, so it was able to escape its predators. It passed on the adaptive trait.
  • These new wolves also developed sand-colored fur as more mutations showed up in the new generations that helped them survive in their unique environment, since their predators the lions could not see them.
