- the setting is in the 1800's in paris. There is a girl and her husband named madame loisel and monsieur loisel.

- OMG I LOST THE NECKLACE!!!
- Madam loisel is too poor to go to anywhere she likes. She is very ungrateful of her life she has. She thinks she is worth everything. Her husbands is grateful for his life.
- falling action
- The rising action is when madam Loisel goes to her friends place to get some jewelry to borrow. Madam Loisel goes to the ball and has lots of fun while her husband waits patiently at home.
- resolution
- When she lost the necklace she was freaking out because she thought her friend would hate her and make her pay for the necklace that she lost.
- the falling is when they get tons of loans to try and buy a new one to replace the one she had lost. She then has to work for over 10 years to pay all the loans off.
- After so many years she finally paidoff all the loans and it says that she looks 10 years older then her age. When she was in a park she saw her friend looking better than ever.
