- Thiru is a foreign talent that has been working in Singapore to support his family back in India.
- Thiru has decided to join the competition. For the competition, he has to pair with a local, man Y whom he met at a cafe.
- He is feeling depressed as he has recently lost a family member back in India but is not able to go back for the funeral due to the pandemic.
- He was on his social media when found out about a cooking competition at a local concept store.
- This seems like an opportunity for me to do some cooking which I love!

- As they worked together for the competition, Man Y realised Thiru was feeling down and took the time to listen to him and his problems.

- After the competition, they still met up often at the concept cafe. They often spent time there during theor rest day playing games and socialising with people who visit the cafe too.
