- "On April 26,1587, Governor John White and 117 colonists set sail from Portsmouth, England, to the New World." After White and company settle here he goes back to England for supplies.
- Land Ho!
- As our theory goes, they moved in with the natives, so before this time they left.

- When White & Company arrived on July 22, 1587, they found the island deserted and the fort demolished."
- They found CRO with no cross so they assumed they went to the island of Croatoan. They tried to find them but gave up after a bad storm.
- The colonists are looking for shelter in the woods after a long and worsening walk.
- Manteo was an Indian from Croatoan who had been to England twice, spoke English and had been used as an interpreter. Croatoan Island is also home to the Croatoan tribe of Native Americans."
