- Bedouins
- Bedouins were a sneaky group of people that would rob wanderers of their Items. Because of this, people would have to travel in large groups called caravans in order to defend themselves if something did happen. Bedouins would live in the desert, so they knew the desert from the back of their head, making it easier to rob people, since most of them needed a map.
- Fasting
- Fasting is a religious act Muslims perform during a special month. This month is the ninth month of the Muslim calendar, called Ramadan. During Ramadan, Muslims are not allowed to eat or drink anything, water included. There is a small exception though, for Muslim women who are pregnant, Muslims who are elderly or extremely young, or any Muslim who is physically incapable of doing so.
- The Five Pillars of Islam
- The five pillars of Islam include Shahada (Faith), Salah (Prayer), Sawm (Fasting), Zakat (Charity), and Hajj (Pilgrimage). These are sort of like the ten commandments, but for Muslims to follow instead. The Five Pillars of Islam are the basis of living for Muslims.
