  • The saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" was first introduced in Wales 1866 and was originally "Eat an apple before going to bed and you'll keep the doctor from earning his bread".It is funny how till this day it is still used quite often especially to children. Although there is not much science to prove that an apple a day does keep the doctor away though it is still believed and is a great source of fibre.
  • Apples and Oranges are very similar and are both grown in the winter. The biggest production of apples and oranges are in the states of America. They are then exported to other countries. Apples are grown in orchards whereas oranges grow in groves.A grove is a forest with a bunch of trees and not much production of varying plants. Orchids are areas designated to grow the certain plant or fruit. They don't differ much from groves except the fact that they are intentional.
