- We cannot fight COVID-19 if we keep on being like this.
- Our people really need to be educated with the protocols.
- I want to thank everyone of you who cared to come to listen on how we are able to help others and ourselves doing this trying time
- Today, we will be talking about the least ways we can do to prevent the spread of the virus. During this time, we cannot see our enemy. We do not know as to when are we gonna be infected and worse, we do not know if we will also infect our loved ones. We should know that the most vulnerable people that could be infected with the virus are senior citizens, minors as well as those with comorbidity. But this does not mean that if we do not belong to any of these, we will not get sick or get the illness.
- Drs., I heard that those with high immune system are less to get infected, is this true?
- Yes, that is absolutely right! That is why, we are here to inform and educate everyone on the least ways or protocols that we can observe during this pandemic. And first on the list is the use of face mask and face shield. As you may know, the virus can be transmitted when we hold objects that may have virus then after we touch our eyes and nose.
- Thus, if we do wear properly a face mask we get to cover our nose which is one of the portals of the virus to get inside our body.
- Which goes the same way as the face shield which could protect our eyes.
- That's right! That is why whenever we go outside, let us make sure that we will wear our masks and shields properly. Let us make sure that it covers the necessary parts of our body where the virus could enter. Also, another thing we should practice is the constant proper handwashing or the use of sanitizers and or alcohols. In this way, there is a great chance that we will get rid of the virus that may we have get on our hands when we hold things like when we do groceries or hand our moneys and get our change.
- Like what we have mentioned earlier the virus is unseen and we will never know when shall we get infected.
- The same goes with what we practice as physical distancing of at least 1 meter, this can also help us avoid contact with anyone possible of having the virus.
- And if this is true, how can we improve our immune system?
- Are the vaccines also effective? I have been hearing negative effects of the vaccines, that is why I am afraid to get the shots.
