- Rainsfordbforshadows his switch from civility to murder when he says “thank you, im a hunter , not a murderer” i beleave this accurately shows how he believed that he could never murder like general zero for but later in the story he makes the switch.
- I believe that the moment rainsofrd changes was the the turning point of this story because this is when rainsford gose agents his words and becalmed just like zarof. And accurate example in the text is “ Rainsford did not smile. “I am still a beast at bay,” he said, in a low, hoarse voice. “Get ready, General Zaroff”
- The resolution is depicted when the narrator states “he had never slept in a better bed rainsford decided” these thoughts give us clues on how raisnford beat zarof in the end and is now sleeping in his bed.
