- Look a rabbit, it is eating grass. You know this makes me think about food chains. They all start with plants. It also reminds me of food webs. I drawing that shows are the options animals have to eat put together, like multiple food chains. I food chain is all about energy and animals. Let's see what happens next.
- Wow, did the snake eat the rabbit, who ate grass and didn't grass get energy from the sun. That means that grass is a producer. A producer is someone who produces there own food. So if the rabbit ate a producer that makes the rabbit a consumer. A consumer is someone who eats producers. Well that means the snake has a lot of energy. Who will eat the snake.
- Well looks like a snake is not the apex predator. What is a apex predator. Well a apex predator is a animal who does not get eaten. Most of the time it is a human because most stuff don't eat humans. Well if this was a food web it might show the rabbit being eaten by the hawk. I guess the rabbit has more than one predator. A rabbit must be prey. What is predator and prey. Well prey is a animal that gets eaten and a predator is a animal that eats prey. Is the hawk a apex predator?
